Here at Can Buy or Not, we're big fans of home appliances, especially of the sucking kind. As a pet owner, loose floating fur is the bane of my household existence, so having a cordless vacuum handy is great. And thanks to technology, we don't need to deal with wired vacuum cleaners anymore, so battery life is also important — you don't want to be in the middle of a deep clean and have to pause. Anyway, here are five of our favourites.
Roidmi X300 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner
The Roidmi X300 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner looks powerful, and it is. Like most handhelds vacuum these days, the X300 features a cyclone system, as well as a large chunky battery to keep it going. Factor in the bundled accessories, which include an anti-mite mattress head, a lighted crevice tool, and a brush head for carpet and hard floors, what's not to like?
Dyson V12 Detect Slim
Using lasers to reveal almost invisible dust seems magical, but it's actually pure science. The Dyson V12 Detect Slim and its laser-equipped Fluffy cleaner head makes cleaning fun, and shows you just how dirty your floors are. Besides the laser Fluffy head, the V12 also comes with an anti-tangle screw, and a crevice pipe with lights. It's all you need to keep your home dust-free, really.
LG CordZero A9K-Ultra
There’s much to like about the LG CordZero A9K-Ultra vacuum cleaner. The Ultra set comes with pretty much everything you need — including a mop head — and sucks dust relatively quietly. Battery life is also excellent, with close to 60 minutes of use per battery — and it comes with two.
Deviating slightly from its usual hand-held cordless stick vacuum cleaner design is the Dyson Omni-glide. Instead of a large bin and a trigger, the Omni-glide sports a thinner, broom-like profile, and an on-off switch. However, the strong cyclone-based suction power, and multiple attachments are pretty much standard Dyson. Factor in the new dual-head Fluffy roller head that easily swivels over obstacles, and you have a winner.
Karcher VC 4s Cordless Vacuum Cleaner
The Karcher VC 4s is a lightweight cordless stick vacuum that weighs a handy 1.25kg. It is even lighter than the Eufy HomeVac S11 Go. Adding to the Karcher's ease of use is its dual-hold handle. This curved L-shaped handle lets users grip the vacuum in two ways to reduce fatigue. Hold horizontally at the top to clean the walls or at the tail end to clean the floor.
