Zocer Electric Air Pump review: Easy pumping

Zocer Electric Air Pump

It can be quite tiring to manually pump all your bicycle tires, especially if you have more than one bike. That's why I decided to get the Zocer Electric Air Pump (and not because I'm lazy). The pump supposedly also works on car tires, but I have yet to test this. I'll update this review when I do. I got this for my bikes, and am loving it so far.

Quick specs

  • Weighs 600g
  • Inflation range of 3 to150 psi
  • 4,000mAh battery (doubles as a power bank, too)

The Zocer pump looks more like a battery pack than anything. On one end is where you connect the very short air hose the pump comes with. The other side is where you plug in the micro-USB cable to charge. You can also use an adapter cable that plugs into a car cigarette lighter. This allows the pump to be used even if it's out of power. The pump also has built-in LED lights. You can turn this on with a button at the side. It then switches from red, blue, or both flashing, or a bright white light that you can use as a torch.

On the side is a display and four buttons where you can adjust the pressure and turn the pump on. It's pretty simple to use, just adjust to your selected pressure level, and hit the power button for it to start pumping. Word of warning, it's very loud when it starts pumping, and the pump will start to heat up. The heat doesn't seem to affect anything though. I was able to pump my tires to 100 psi with no issues. It caps out at 150 psi. Strangely, the pump would sometimes stop before the required pressure. But, you can press a button to continue pumping.

If there's one complaint I have, it's that the hose is too short, and when fully attached, is upside down. So either you have to make sure your tire valve is above, or don't attach it fully so you can twist it somewhat. The pump also comes with a Presta and Needle valve adapters. There's also a valve for blowing up inflatables.

Retailing at just S$35 on Shopee, the Zocer Electric Air Pump is a pretty good buy if you're looking for an electric air pump. While it's not as good looking as the Xiaomi Mijia 1S Air Pump, it gets the job done quickly and easily. There's only one option on Lazada, and it appears to be an older model, so we're not linking to it (in case you're wondering).
