Those going on road trips will love the Ugreen 130W USB-C Car Charger, especially when you need a quick boost to your phone's battery. It features 100W and 30W charging on its two USB-C ports, as well as 18W Quick Charge on its USB-A port. And since it plugs into your car's auxiliary power outlet, you can use this charger on any vehicle with the port.
- Input: 24 Volts
- USB-A Output: 22.5W max
- USB-C1 Output: 30W max
- USB-C2 Output: 100W max
- Comes with 1m 100W USB-C to USB-C cable
The charger comes with three ports, a 100W USB-C, a 30W USB-C, and a USB-A that supports Qualcomm's Quick Charge tech for 18W fast charging. Otherwise the USB-A port does 22.5W. This does mean that despite the Ugreen charger stating 130W, you won't get that from one port. This is unlike, say the Ugreen 140W Nexode, which can put out 140W from a single port. But you do get a max of 100W, which will quickly juice up any compatible devices.
If you're charging two devices at once from the two USB-C ports, then you get 100W and 30W. Plugging three devices in, however, will still give you 100W on the 100W port, but the 30W USB-C and the USB-A port will give 12W each. Using the 30W and USB-A also gives you 12W each. Your best bet is to just use the 100W, and either of the other two ports to maximise your charging speed. If you're worried which one is the 100W port, fret not, it's helpfully labeled on the charger.
The charger comes with a USB-C cable that supports 100W charging. I tested with the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, and the MacBook Pro 14 M2 (2023). The iPhone hit 25W max, but the 13 Ultra could only go up to around 27W. You'll need Xiaomi's own fast charger to get the max 90W speed, it seems. I also plugged in the MacBook Pro, which was able to pull up to 96W — close enough.
At S$25, the Ugreen 130W USB-C Car Charger is a pretty good buy. Get this if your car doesn't come with a charger, or if you want to juice up your phone quickly before your next destination. I can't wait to use it overseas on a road trip to keep my devices powered. Get from Shopee, Lazada, or Amazon.
