Having used the Secretlab Premium Footrest for a week or so now, it's a product that's actually not bad. By that, I mean you can get it, and it will make you sit better on your Secretlab chair, but you can also skip it. However, I really do like resting my feet on it compared with the cold concrete floor of the home office or resting my feet on my chair legs.

Made with memory foam, the Premium Footrest is covered with a nice velour material. It has a nice velvet finish, and feels really comfortable. The footrest uses two types of foam, a soft one makes up the top layer, and a harder core foam. So your foot sinks in a little, but then stops at the core. You can rest your foot either on the flat surface or at the curved edges, depending on your sitting style.

The footrest is designed to work with Secretlab chairs, but I had no issues trying it with an Ergotune chair as well. I also used it with my TV couch, and it worked really well, too. My feet were able to rest comfortably either way. The silicone base also does a good job of keeping the Premium Footrest in place without sliding.

Since your feet are going to be on it for lots of time, the footrest will get quite dirty. After about a week of use, I found lots of pet hair and dirt. Thankfully, the Dyson V15 did a pretty great job of cleaning up the cushion. You can also unzip the cover to wash, but note that it's hand wash only — do not chuck this into a washing machine!
At S$99, the Secretlab Premium Footrest is a worthy buy for your feet. You can also consider getting the S$199 Secretlab Professional Footrest, though it seems that version is not available till later this year. Get the Premium Footrest from Secretlab.
