Sporting a beautiful ceramic rear, the Oppo Find X5 Pro also impresses with its cameras. You'll be able to take pretty darn good pictures, in daylight as well as at night. I also like that you can take pretty sweet low-light 4K video — good to have, but you probably won't use it much unless you're planning to be a cinematographer.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the Find X5 Pro offers solid performance, whether it's gaming or just day-to-day use. In Geekbench 5, the Find X5 Pro scored 3,326 in the multi-core test. Battery life is superb as well, with a 15hr 31min runtime in our video playback test. The phone's 5,000mAh battery recharges about 80% in 30 minutes with the provided SuperVOOC charger. While Oppo says it can recharge 50% in 12 minutes, my test shows it only hit around 35% in that period.

The Find X5 Pro's rear triple-camera system is powered by Oppo's own imaging neural processing unit (NPU) MariSilicon X. The chip is designed for capturing 4K 60fps night videos, using algorithms to reduce noise. It's crazy impressive — even in a dark room with background light, the phone was able to pick up details with very minimal noise. Normal photos are also great, with lots of detail and dynamic range. It's really good, as good as the S22 and the iPhone 13. One thing that stands out versus these other phones, though, is its fantastic ultra-wide camera, which doesn't lose out much detail compared with the main camera. Zoom range though, could be better — it only has 2x. It also loses the microscope mode of the Find X3 Pro.

Oppo's ColorOS is based on Android 12, and adds its own tweaks. You can create an Omoji, similar to Apple's Memojis. There's a gesture control feature, but I found this to be gimmicky. The 6.7-inch AMOLED display has 120Hz dynamic refresh rate, which allows certain apps to offer ridiculously smooth scrolling. Most games though, only offer up to 60fps. Lastly, the ceramic rear is smooth, shiny, and stunning. However, it's a fingerprint magnet.
Retailing at S$1,699, the Oppo Find X5 Pro is a flagship phone with flagship pricing. However, the asking price is easily justified by the phone's great features and capabilities. Get it from Lazada or Shopee.
