The MX Master 3 has always been one of my favourite work mice, and the Logitech MX Master 3S takes it up a slight notch. While the overall design and feel is the same, what's different is the sound of silence. From your clicks to the rapidly spinning scroll wheel, the MX Master 3S is ridiculously quiet.

I've previously called the MX Master 3 the best mouse for work, and the MX Master 3S is no different. The buttons are the same, with a MagSpeed scroll wheel, a thumb wheel, forward and back buttons, a button for gestures, and your usual left and right mouse keys. What's different this time is that these buttons are all silent, including the MagSpeed scroll wheel. Which means you'll lose the nice zooming spinning sound. On the other hand, you won't annoy your colleagues.

As always, the buttons can be configured for a variety of uses. Best thing is it works for both Windows and Mac, with different and shared settings for each. I mostly use it to quickly zoom in and out, as well as rotate images in my image editor. Logitech's Flow is also available, letting you switch between computers easily.

Another improvement is the 8K DPI sensor, and it tracks amazingly well on most surfaces, including glass. That means you don't have to hunt down a piece of paper in a hotel room to use as a mousepad. Battery life is rated at 70 days — after a week of use, I'm still at 95%.
At S$169, the Logitech MX Master 3S is still one of the best mice for work you can get. If you prefer a lighter mouse, there's always the smaller MX Anywhere 3, or the Razer Pro Click Mini. Get it from Lazada.
