Sporting a cute and compact spherical design, the Creative Pebble Pro offers good sound for your computer. This set of two speakers isn't as powerful as the Creative T60 when connected to your PC's USB port (only 10W RMS output), but goes up to 30W when you connect them with a 30W USB charger. Best of all, the performance is pretty impressive despite the small-ish size.
Quick specs
- 2.25-inch full-range drivers
- USB-C cable, USB-C to USB-A cable, 3.5mm AUX-in cable
- Peak power up to 20W, up to 30W with charger
The design of the Pebble Pro is similar to previous versions. However, it does get a bling upgrade in the form of RGB lights at the base. If you dislike them, you can turn them off. Otherwise, you can easily toggle between colour cycling, pulsating, or a single static colour. You can also pair the speakers to your laptop via Bluetooth if you're out of ports. Otherwise, the Pebble Pro connects to your computer via a USB-C port, and comes with USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to USB-A cables.

One thing I like is that the speaker-to-speaker cable is longer than previous models. It measures 1.8m compared to the 1.35m of the Pebble V3. I love this because it gives me more options for routing the cables. The extra length also makes it easier to conceal the cable. At the back of the speaker: The USB-C Power Delivery port, as well as microphone and headphone jacks.

Similar to the Razer Leviathan V2 X, the Pebble Pro connects via USB-C for power. You get peak power up to 20W, which is sufficiently loud for most of what you need to do, including gaming. If you need even more volume, you can plug it into a 30W charger, which will boost the audio even more. I found the bass to be strong, while the mids and highs are clear. There's no distortion even on the highest volume, which is impressive for such a small set of speakers.
At S$89, the Creative Pebble Pro is a pretty good buy. It delivers excellent sound, and looks great, too. Their compact size makes them easy to fit on your desk, and the longer speaker-to-speaker cable give you a lot more leeway to place them. Get it from Creative directly.
