The Bosch Unlimited 7 ProAnimal vacuum cleaner works well for getting rid of animal fur. But not if your home has lots of carpets. That's because the floor nozzle can only be pulled backwards on carpeted floors. You can't vacuum up and down like you can on normal floors. But it works plenty fine on normal floors, and the LED lights help illuminate the loose fur you need to suck up.
Quick specs
- Up to 40 minutes run time
- 0.3L bin, 2.9kg
- Three speed modes: Eco, Turbo, and Auto
- Battery will work with other Bosch products, too
That said, the Bosch vacuum's illumination isn't as piercing as the Fluffy Optic of the Dyson V12s. It will light up dirt, but they don't show up as clearly. That's something to consider, too. But as long as it's not carpet, the floor nozzle rolls over great, and sucks up dirt pretty easily. The floor nozzle also comes with a clever design that lets you use your foot to separate it.

Besides the main floor nozzle, the Unlimited 7 also comes with a flexible keyboard and drawer head, an mini-electric head, a flexible extension hose, a furniture brush, and a flexible suction pipe. The latter comes with a storage hook, so you can easily place the vacuum against a chair or a table, and not worry about it falling over. The suction pipe can also bend in the middle. This helps you vacuum hard-to-reach places like under your chair. You can unhook the 0.3L container, and pour out the dirt.

The vacuum has three modes, Eco, Turbo, and Auto. You toggle between the modes via a switch on the top. Battery life is rated at 40 minutes, and the good thing is this battery can also work with other Bosch devices. So you can technically use the battery on a Bosch drill and vice versa. Design-wise, the Tornado Red of the Ultimate 7 is eye-catching, and stands out. I also like the balance of the vacuum, the battery at the back helps to counter-balance the weight from the cleaner heads.
At S$1,399, the Bosch Ultimate 7 ProAnimal is pricey — especially when compared to the excellent Dyson V12s which has a lower starting price and a wet cleaning head. That could be a better option for spending your hard-earned cash. However, if you already own other Bosch products, getting this may make sense. Get it from Shopee or Lazada.
