Belkin's newest wall charger, the Belkin BoostCharge Pro 140W, will keep all your devices charged easily. It has more ports than the Ugreen Nexode 140W Charger, while also featuring a removable 3-pin power plug. That means you can easily swap this to a different type, though you will need the global model. Belkin says it doesn't sell it in Singapore, yet.
- 4-port GaN charger includes 3x USB-C and 1x USB-A ports
- Up to 140W total
- Supports fast charging of most PD3.1 (EPR) and PD3.0 enabled devices.
The BoostCharge Pro 140W comes with three USB-C PD3.1 ports, and one 12W USB-A. The first port can go up to a max of 140W, while the other two are capped at 65W each. Plugging all four ports will reduce charging speeds, depending on what's plugged in. If you're using the USB-A along with the first USB-C port, then the USB-C port drops to 100W. Using the first and second USB-C ports, or the first and third ports along with the USB-A will cap the USB-C ports at 65W each.
Using all four ports will drop your charging power to 65W, 45W, 20W, and 12W respectively. This means you can charge two laptops, a phone, and a smartwatch all at the same time. Or you can take this along with you on a trip, and charge all your phones and power banks at the same time with no issues. Of course, you may need to pack an adaptor with you depending on where you're going.
Since I don't have a 16-inch Apple MacBook Pro around, I wasn't able to test the max 140W charging speed. You will also need to use the MagSafe cable. However, I was able to hit 96W with the 14-inch M2 MacBook Pro using a USB-C cable. That's more than enough to keep your laptop juiced for whatever you need to do. If you're feeling up to it, feel free to also pick up the 240W USB-C cable from Belkin.
At S$199, the Belkin BoostCharge Pro 140W is actually cheaper than Ugreen's 140W charger. You'd normally expect the Belkin wall charger to cost a premium over Ugreen's products, but that's not the case here this time. Also, if you're willing to wait, Belkin will be bringing in the multi-plug version soon, but expect to pay a bit more for it. In the meantime, get the UK-plug version from Shopee or Lazada.
