As far as vacuum cleaners go, the Acerpure V1 Lite isn't the most powerful or most advanced. But it's definitely compact, and comes with a useful corner cleaning accessory to let you reach under your cabinets.

Unlike the bigger Dyson or Xiaomi vacuums, the V1 Lite weighs just 550g. I can comfortably hold it up without straining unlike the huge Dyson V15. The handle also rest nicely in my hand. The power button is located within reach of your thumb. There's only one power setting, on or off. There are no options for a more powerful turbo mode or an energy-saving mode. The V1 Lite comes with a built-in stand, but it's not very well designed — if you put both the vacuum and the corner head on it, it will tilt over.

The 150ml bin is pretty small, but that's par for the course. One thing you have to be careful when emptying the bin is that the dirt tends to stick to the metal cover of the filter. So it may fall out if you're not careful. Also, take note that since the dirt clumps around the metal cover, it actually may degrade suction performance, so be sure to regularly empty the bin. Otherwise, the metal cover opens with a twist, and you can wash the HEPA filter that's inside.

Suction performance is decent, and the included accessories make cleaning easy. The crevice tool has a sliding brush head that moves out of the way when not needed. The corner tool bends all the way flat so you can vacuum at ground level. The corner head also works great for — you guessed it — vacuuming corners. I did notice a weird smell coming out of the V1 Lite when it's powered on, though I'm not sure if it's just my unit. Battery life is just 15 minutes, and charging takes four hours via USB-C.
At S$98 (usual price S$149), the Acerpure V1 Lite isn't the most powerful vacuum around, but it is very portable. It's a perfect accessory for your car to keep your floors clean. Get it from Shopee, Lazada, or Acer.
